On June 22, 2006 at the Annual General Meeting shareholders of ZAO Depository Clearing Company elected the Board of Directors. All 5 candidates suggested by NDC were elected including Eddie Astanin, NDC Deputy CEO, Denis Solovyov, NDC Deputy CEO, Sergey Naumov, NDC Deputy CEO – Controller, Boris Cherkassky, Development Director and Marina Medvedeva, First Deputy Director General of the MICEX SE.
There were 4 NDC representatives on the previous Board of Directors.

Eddie Astanin is the NDC Deputy CEO since 1 January, 2005. Graduated from Military Engineering Institute named after A.F. Mozhayskiy as an engineer ballistician and Financial Academy under the Russian Federation Government specializing in Banking. He is a Doctor of Science. From 1994 till 2004 Eddie Astanin worked on MICEX, starting from Key Economist grew to the Head of Government Securities and Money Markets Department.
Denis Solovyov joined NDC as Deputy CEO in July 2003 after over 7 years with UNEXIM/ROSBANK as Head of Marketing & Client Relations division. After finishing Lomonosov Moscow State University he worked for ING Bank (Eurasia) Moscow based Subsidiary of ING Barings Group. In 1998 he was graduated as MS from Institute of international law and economics in financial management and received PhD in international private law degree from The Academy of State Service under patronage of the President of Russian Federation in 2001.
Sergey Naumov joined NDC in April 1998, in October 2003 was appointed NDC Deputy CEO – Controller. Graduated from Moscow Institute of National Economy named after G.V. Plehanov specialized in “Economic planning” in 1976, PhD in Economics, lecturer. In 1981-1993 lectured in MINE named after G.V. Plehanov. In 1993-1998 worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers and consulted the Federal Commission for Securities Market and the Committee on State Property Management on various projects.
Boris Cherkassky was appointed NDC Development Director on 3 Octover, 2005. Graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, specialized in Mathematics, Doctor of Science. He started depository career in 1991, including from 1993 till 1999 with the Bank of Russia.
Marina Medvedeva graduated from Financial Academy under the Russian Federation Government in 1982. In 1982-1991 worked in the Ministry of Finance of USSR and Ministry of Finance of RSFSR, from 1992 till 1993 in the Ministry of Finance of RF as Deputy Head of Federal Treasury of RF. In 1993 started her career at MICEX as a Top Economist and grew to Senior Deputy Director General of MICEX SE, participated in the project to implement and develop stock market on MICEX.
