Перевод отчетов DBF-XML: решение НРД
DBF-XML Report Convertation
As part of the Electronic Document Management Concept implementation, NSD presents a roadmap for converting reports from DBF format to XML.
Why depository reports need to be translated to XML
Depository reports are converted to XML based on the ISO 20022 standard, taking into account the logic of existing NSD reports. If there are analogues in ISO 20022, ready-made message structures are used; in other cases, NSD develops XML formats following the standard methodology.
XML Format
Most convertible and convenient for operation when exchanging through interaction channels that allow STP (Straight-through processing)
Integration and report conversion in client systems is simplified
Automation reduces report processing time
New Formats Implementation Procedure

Implementation of XML format for depository reports is divided into stages. NSD notifies clients about each implementation stage in advance, publishing specifications that include XML schemas and general message examples based on industrial anonymized copies. Draft specifications are published in the Releases section 1–2 months before stage release, and the final version — in the EDI Documents section in Specifications of functional electronic documents of NSD EDS 10 days before release. It is recommended to use XML schemas as the main reference when implementing new formats.

Within each translation stage, the following is carried out:

  • adding ISIN code indication to all XML reports where securities are indicated;
  • generating print forms in PDF format in Web-offices;
  • transfer and processing of new format in Web-offices interface;

Parallelly with report translation during 2025, the following is planned:

  • adding ability to select multiple issues or issuers when submitting instructions 40 (request type 3, 5, 8) and 41 (request types 4, 6);
  • expanding the list of reports for XLS export in DCU Web-office;
  • ensuring ability for mass PDF printing from Web-offices.
Implementation Features
For clients subscribed to receive depository reports in ISO 15022 standard messages, the report format will remain unchanged.

For all reports, a period of parallel operation of XML and DBF formats is planned. End of parallel report operation and disconnection of DBF format delivery is planned for the first half of 2027 for all translated reports. Terms of translating depository reporting to XML and stage content may be adjusted. Terms of ending parallel operation and disconnecting SWIFT format may be adjusted.

  • As a result of implementing new format for reports, DBF report archive delivery when sending reports on operations is accompanied by a message in XML format. XML format report is sent to folders that start with the first letter Z.
  • After disconnecting DBF delivery, only the new format with XMLRP file type will remain in the archive. This file type will come in packages with the first letter Q.
