What to do if your NSD order for securities transfer is not executed?
General Information

Once you submit a securities transfer order to NSD, it will either be executed immediately (if no deferred date is specified) or, within 15 minutes, you will receive a report in the DCU cabinet indicating why the order was not accepted.

Reasons for Order Non-Execution and Next Steps

Immediately after submission

The order will be executed if everything is correct and there are no errors.

  • If there are actual errors in the order, a GS001 rejection report will be sent. In this case, you can only resubmit the order.

Error example: a non-existent security or counterparty is specified.

The GS001 rejection report will be sent immediately only if the order is submitted during an open trading day. If submitted later, the report will arrive the following morning.

Within 15 minutes after submission

  • If no matching order is found, a GS036 report will be sent.

What to do: contact your counterparty, confirm that the counterparty order was submitted, and verify the main parameters of the order.

  • If a matching order is found but there are discrepancies in the fields, a GS101 or GS036 report will be sent.

What to do: the error could be on your side or the counterparty's. Contact your counterparty and discuss field corrections.

  • If you do not have enough securities to sell, a GS101 report will be sent.

What to do: this may happen if there is a shortage of securities or they are blocked on the exchange because they are pledged. Check the debiting section, contact your traders to cancel orders, unblock the securities, reduce limits, and/or take other necessary actions.

  • If none of the above reports are received, it means your order is currently undergoing compliance review at NSD.

What to do: NSD will contact you to request additional documents or comments. Check for requests from us, respond to them, and wait for execution. Typically, documents received by NSD before 5:00 PM are reviewed on the same business day.
The NSD team is always available to help you resolve order delays. However, before contacting us, please check your DCU cabinet—if the order is not executed, there is likely already a report in your cabinet indicating the reason.
