On 8 February, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia’s central securities depository, was held.
Members of the Board discussed issues related to changing the composition of the National Settlement Depository Customer Committee (Central Securities Depository Customer Committee) and the Customer Committee for Registrar and Depository Relations.
In accordance with the resolution of the Supervisory Board of NSD, Yuri Taranovsky, General Director, Reestr JSC, was appointed as a new member of the National Settlement Depository Customer Committee (Central Securities Depository Customer Committee); he replaced Olga Antonova, whose powers were terminated.
The Supervisory Board made a decision to terminate the powers of Lyudmila Mironova, Chairperson of the Customer Committee for Registrar and Depository Relations, and to exclude her from the Committee. Maksim Murashov, General Director, JSC “DRAGA”, was elected as the Committee’s new chairman; the Committee is now made up of 17 persons.
The Supervisory Board also recognized the Company’s internal control system as satisfactory and generally compliant with the nature, scale, and terms of the Company’s operations.
The Supervisory Board of NSD considered and took into account the following reports:
- The 2016 Activities Report of the Internal Control Department of National Settlement Depository;
- The Internal Audit Department's Performance Report for the Period of H2 2016;
- The Report of the Professional Securities Market Participant's Controller for Q4 2016.
