№ SHA-03/12350, 17.10.2012

National Settlement Depository (NSD) and CJSC Depository Clearing Company (DCC) hereby remind that starting from November 1, 2012 NSD-DCC settlement bridge will be closed.

This measure is taken due to the undergoing transfer of assets from DCC to NSD in the framework of the companies’ integration. The sole available transfer scheme between NSD’s and DCC’s customers is the transfer between accounts in DCC and other customers’ safekeeping accounts opened in NSD.

Please note that the flag of bridge connection between NSD and DCC will still be set in the “LUCH” Software, NSD DISC and in other information systems of both DCC and NSD for some time. It is required for optimizing interdepository transfers between DCC’s and NSD’s customers as well as for finalizing the transfer of assets from DCC to NSD. For the same purpose, in order to provide the technical interaction between DCC and NSD, the list of securities eligible for settlement via the NSD-DCC bridge will be considerably expanded from 29 to 31st of October 2012.

Please note that despite the list extension, during the period from 29 to 31st of October 2012 the bridge settlement will only be possible for the securities admitted to the bridge settlement as at the close of business day on October 28, 2012.
