NSD has completed its self-assessment of observance of the Principles for Financial Market Infrastructures

In accordance with the recommendations issued by the Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems (СPMI) and the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), as well as by the Bank of Russia, National Settlement Depository (NSD) conducts, on a regular basis, a self-assessment of observance by NSD of the requirements and guidelines laid down in the Principles for Financial Market Infrastructures (the "FMI Principles").

NSD has completed its 2020 self-assessment of observance of the FMI Principles.

The 2020 self-assessment has reconfirmed the findings of NSD's self-assessment for the previous period, namely that NSD acts in the capacity of financial market infrastructures in a sustainable and reliable way.

The findings of the 2020 self-assessment show that NSD observes or broadly observes the FMI Principles. In particular, out of 24 FMI Principles, 20 principles are applicable to NSD, and of them, NSD observes 16 principles and broadly observes 4 principles. There are no principles that are not observed by NSD.
