This is an update to the communication dated 12 October 2017 . Please be advised that NSD will be operating over the New Year period as follows:
29 December 2017: NSD will be providing depository and bank account services as usual. However, bank account statements for any transactions made on that date will be issued on 3 January 2018.
3, 4 and 5 January 2018: NSD will be providing depository and bank account services as usual, without accepting hard copy documents at NSD's offices, and subject to the specific rules set forth by the Bank of Russia for money transfers in the Bank of Russia's Payment System. No foreign exchange transactions will be processed.
Collateral management services will be provided also as usual, subject to:
- specific requirements set forth by Moscow Exchange with respect to the method of determination of settlement prices to be used in the following trades: "Repo with the Bank of Russia: Repo Auction" and "Repo with the Bank of Russia: Fixed Rate";
- specific requirements set forth by the Russian Federal Treasury in the Parameters of Selection of Credit Organizations' Repo Contract Applications, including the collateral requirements.
Transactions that require interaction with external counterparties will be executed subject to such counterparties’ operating hours.
30 and 31 December 2017, and 1, 2, 6 and 8 January 2018 will be non-business days.
Please note that due to the scheduled works that will be conducted on 2 January 2018, that date will be the depository's operating day at the end of which clients will be sent Form IS401 and IS411 statements in response to information requests.
