The National Depository Center (NDC), Russia's only settlement depository servicing the full range of debt and equity securities of Russian issuers, announced today that MICEX Settlement House has begun operating as NDC's regional representative in Samara. With effect from July 1, NDC participants are being served at MICEX Settlement House's Samara branch (78 Michurina Str. 443110 Samara).
Sergei Sukhinin, Director, MICEX Settlement House, said: "We consider this project to be very important, for the designation of our Samara branch as NDC’s representative means expansion of our functions. Our personnel’s professional skills will ensure the highest level of quality of services provided by the MICEX Settlement House."
Nikolay Egorov, Director, NDC, added: "The existence of a network of branches and representative offices in major Russian business centers such as St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, Novosibirsk and Vladivostok allows NDC to provide services to professional participants in the securities market and investors all over the country. We think that after the transfer of regional representative functions to MICEX Settlement House in Samara, our clients will gain access to a wide range of services.
