NDC Representatives Join DCC's New Board of Directors

The National Depository Center (NDC), Russia's only settlement depository servicing the full range of debt and equity securities of Russian issuers, announced today that the 26 June annual general meeting of shareholders of Depository Clearing Company CJSC (DCC) elected five NDC candidates to the new Board of Directors. The new members of the Board of Directors proposed by NDC include the following: Eddie Astanin, Deputy Director, NDC, Yuri Dubin, Director of Depository, Sberbank, Grigory Egorov, Legal Advisor to NDC's Director, Sergei Naumov, Deputy Director, NDC, and Andrei Remnev, Director of Depository, Vnesheconombank.

NDC currently owns 37.29% in DCC.

Biographies:

Eddie Astanin was appointed Deputy Director, NDC, in 2005. In 1994-2004 Mr. Astanin worked for Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange as Director of Department for government securities and monetary market. He graduated from the Military Engineering Institute specializing in ballistic engineering, and also from the Financial Academy attached to the Government of Russian Federation, with a specialization in banking. He holds a PhD in technical science.

Yuri Dubin is the Director of Depository of Sberbank since 2002. In 1994 he graduated from the Institute of Asian and African Studies in the Moscow State University named after Lomonosov with a specialty in international economic relations.

Grigory Egorov works as a Legal Advisor to NDC's Director since 2004. In 1992 he graduated from Moscow Higher Police School with a specialty in law.

Sergei Naumov joined NDC in 1998. In 2009 he was appointed the company's Deputy Director. In 1981-1993 he worked as a lecturer at the Moscow Economic Institute named after Plekhanov. In 1993-1998 he worked at Price Waterhouse as an auditor-consultant, senior consultant and chief expert responsible for contracts concluded by the company with State Property Committee and Federal Commission for the Securities Market. In 1976 he graduated from the Moscow Economic Institute named after Plekhanov with a specialty in economic planning. He holds a PhD in Economics.

Andrei Remnev works in depository sector since 1996. Initially he was the deputy chief of depository of Vneshtorgbank; in 1999 he was appointed the Chief and later the Director of Depository of Vnesheconombank. Mr. Remnev graduated from Moscow Financial Institute in 1976 with a specialty in international economic relations.
