National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia’s central securities depository, announces that it has made a first step toward creation of an English language analogue of Depository Information Service Center (DISC) used by NSD’s clients on the Russian page of the company’s web site. NSD’s DISC is a service providing information about organizations and their securities serviced by NSD.

The English version of DISC is designed for foreign participants of securities market, the company’s international clients and investors. Now foreign clients can get a direct access to NSD’s data, including information about securities and organizations, without the need for translation. In addition to this, Russian clients working with foreign partners can use the English version of DISC to reduce costs for processing of information for their foreign customers.

The English version of DISC includes a section “General Search” allowing to seek data regarding securities and organizations. Information about securities is available in a section “Securities”, information about organizations – in a section “Companies.”

The information service allows to search data using various parameters, for instance, switching from information about securities to information about organizations and backwards; it provides additional options to NSD’s customers and makes their work in the system easier.

Launch of the English version of DISC is one more important stage in NSD’s efforts on qualitative transformation of the range of services that facilitates foreign investors’ interactions with NSD.

Users of the Russian version of DISC may switch to the English version of DISC here using their login and password.
