On 11th November 2015, the Tenth International Conference “Russian Derivatives Market” organized by the National Securities Market Association (NSMA) was held. The event was supported by the Bank of Russia, the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA), the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the ACI Financial Markets Association (ACI FMA). More than 320 delegates representing professional financial market participants and the regulator gathered at the conference this year.
The second session of the conference attended by Anastasia Kiseleva, Managing Director for Repository Services, NSD, was focused on the derivatives market infrastructure. Among the issues discussed by the session’s participants was the overview of the NSD Repository’s key achievements and short term development plans. In her presentation, Ms. Kiseleva reported on 2015 key performance results of the NSD repository, the largest repository in the Russian market, and shared the company’s development plans for 2016.
Among the participants of the second session of the conference were representatives of the Moscow Exchange, the National Clearing Centre, the Saint-Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange and NP RTS. The session was moderated by Elena Chaikovskaya, Director, Financial Market Development Department, the Bank of Russia.
