NSD Takes Part in the Annual Computershare Group’s Conference for Issuers

On 25 September 2014, Computershare group held its third annual conference for issuers in Moscow. The event was supported by the National Settlement Depository (NSD). The conference is traditionally attended by representatives of Russian issuers, corporate sector experts, lawyers and specialists in investor and shareholder relations.

During panel discussions, conference participants discussed new events and trends in the Russian securities market, improvements in the corporate governance system, shareholder interactions, public and closed joint stock companies, and the global practice of e-proxy-voting for general shareholders meetings.

Eddie Astanin, Chairman of the Executive Board, NSD, acted as a moderator of the panel discussion “On recent events and the securities market outlook.” Representatives of the Centre for Capital Market Development, Euroclear, UniCredit Bank, Citibank and Computershare Registrar took part in the event. Discussion topics included: factors for successful corporate actions reform, the possible consolidation of the registrar community after successfully completing corporate actions reform and current changes in Russian laws.

This consent is valid from the date of acceptance by me of the terms and conditions of the Service until the time when I cancel my subscription to the Service or revoke this consent by giving notice in writing to the Data Controller at its address.
