NSD to Pass Its Branches' Functions to MICEX Representative Offices and Branches

MOSCOW - National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia's only settlement depository servicing the full range of debt and equity securities of Russian issuers, reports that in compliance with the decision on close of NSD branches made by company's Supervisory Board on 23 December, 2010, the following branches of the company have stopped operations and are considered closed:

  • Urals branch (closed on 15 July)
  • Rostov, Primorsky, Nizhny Novgorod, Siberian and Samara branches (closed on 22 July)

Information about close of NSD branches is included into a State Register of Credit Organizations.

Interactions with customers in Rostov-on-Don, Vladivostok, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Samara, Krasnodar and Krasnoyarsk are held by branches and representative offices of MICEX. Interactions with clients in St. Petersburg are carried out by MICEX-Northwest. All these interactions are being held on basis of agreements for representative functions concluded by the MICEX divisions with NSD. The contact information is available at NSD's web site.

NSD's head office located in Moscow provides depository and settlements for the company's customers.
