In accordance with decisions of governing bodies NDC is successfully implementing the stratagy to increase its capital and provide high financial stability. In the first half of 2006 NDC’s capital increased by 24.9% and as of 30 June, 2006 reached 780 million 682 thousand rubles. Own funds calculated according to FFMS methodology amounted to 706 million 877 thousand rubles. NDC’s turnover for the period was 391.7 million rubles, 51.1% growth year-on-year. Net profit calculated according to Russian accounting standards – 155.5 million rubles, 76% growth compared to the same period previous year (88.4 million rubles). It is important to note that such good financial results were achieved against consistent decrease of fees for NDC's services.
The value of assets held on clients’ accounts opened at NDC grew from the beginning of the year by 42.54% from 1.77 trillion rubles to 2.522 trillion rubles ($93.14 billion). Growth was supported by increase in the value of shares of stock companies and the Central Bank bonds. Increase in the value of shares kept at NDC in the 6 months of 2006 amounted to 156.56%.

The value of assets held at clients’ accounts opened at NDC is an operating indicator, which does not include the market value of unplaced securities on accounts. The value of shares and mutual fund assets is calculated according to their market value, value of bonds by their par value.
