NDC continuously strengthens its prominent position in the Russian securities market's infrastructure. Total value of securities serviced by NDC has exceeded USD50 billion.
The basis for such tremendous growth of the safe-kept assets in the securities accounts has been provided by the following: shares issued by joint-stock companies, corporate bonds, Bank of Russia bonds, and Federal bonds. Value of equities kept by the depositors in NDC with respect to total value of shares safe-kept in NDC, from the beginning of January 01, 2005 to the date has increased by 8.8%. Bonds portfolio value with respect to total value of bonds safe-kept with NDC, from the beginning of January 01, 2005 to the date has increased by 4.5%. Total growth of assets since the beginning of year 2005 has amounted to USD5 billion, or 8.4%.
NDC, a major settlement depository which services all types and categories of Russian issuer's securities, intends to use its accumulated potential for further development of its technological base as a foundation for effective software and hardware solutions for a central depository.
