Transition to a New Electronic Signature Verification Key Certificate of NSD's Key Server

Please be advised that on 27 July 2017, at 8.30 am (Moscow time), NSD will run the scheduled annual process for the replacement of Electronic Signature Verification Key Certificates (ESVKC) of NSD's key server:

Qualified ESVKC:

NSD EDI Participants are required to do the following:

1. Luch software users:

Run a regular update of Luch directories, the file with which was sent to you by NSD on 20 July 2017. Please note that the updated release includes a directory with ESVKCs of NSD's key server.

To make sure that the ESVKCs have been added to the 'Certificates' folder of the Certificate Directory software correctly, you are advised to take one of the following steps:

1.1. Update the ESVKCs of NSD's key server either by initializing the cryptographic library (menu "Crypto - Initialization"), or by receiving/sending electronic documents.

1.2. Start the Certificate Directory software and, in the 'Certificates' folder, locate the certificate of the key referred to in paragraph 1.1 above. If no new certificate is located in the 'Certificates' folder in the local directory of the Certificate Directory software, re-start the Certificate Directory software and try to locate the certificate again, or add the certificate by the method described in paragraph 1.1 above.

1.3. To check performance of Luch software during the scheduled replacement of ESVKCs of NSD's key server, after 8.30 am on 27 July 2017, send/receive electronic documents to/from NSD, or create a transit untyped electronic document and send it to yourself via Luch.

2. Users of all other NSD EDI local workstation types are required to add the ESVKCs to the Certificate Directory.

Users using the qualified or non-qualified ESVKC should do the following:

3. From the network directory of certificates in Certificate Directory software (LDAP server of Moscow Exchange) in accordance with the Certificate Directory Operator Manual.

4. Users of the File Gateway software are required to do the following after completing the step described in paragraph 2:

  • On 27 July 2017, at 8.30 am, stop exchanges in the File Gateway.
  • In the channel settings, change the value of the field "Serial Number of NSD's Electronic Digital Signature Certificate" (copy the new value from the local certificate directory).
  • Re-start exchanges and check software performance by sending an untyped electronic document to yourself.

To ensure correct operation of NSD EDI local workstations using Web-channels (Luch software in the Web-channel mode, Web-clients, or Web-services), in addition to adding the ESVKCs to the 'Certificates' folder in the Certificate Directory software in accordance with paragraph 1 above, it is also required to export the ESVKCs to the Windows system store (Certificate Directory menu: "Service" - "Export Certificates to the System Store").
