Please be advised that NSD has posted new information on its official web site, in the section “SRD II”.
In particular, the following updates were posted in a sub-section entitled “Migration to the new ISO 20022 standard”:
- “Guidelines for Online Application to Participate in NSD Systems Testing” (the ‘Guidelines’) were updated;
- “Procedure for NSD’s Clients Participation in the Testing of the Process for Receiving a Request to Identify a Securities Holder” (the ‘Procedure’) was added.
For a more comfortable transition to the ISO 20022 standard, NSD’s clients can take part in the testing process for receiving a request to identify a Securities Holder and getting updates about changes in the deadlines for receiving information about Securities Holders by an agent or cancellation of such a request. In order to participate in this testing, please register before 28 February 2022 by sending an online application (completed in accordance with the Instructions) to NSD. Testing participants will be divided into 4 groups depending on the testing period. You can find the available test intervals, scenarios and detailed information on testing in the Procedure;
- Information about the date of launching new functionality on SI (Shareholder Identification) requests to the production environment was added to the “Roadmap of Client Teating”. Please note that the functionality of informing about requests to identify a Securities Holder using ISO 20022 standard messages is planned to be launched in July 2022, after this date the maintenance of the current format and the use of ISO 15022 (for subscribed clients) will no longer be available (due to the specifics of the work of the Foreign Depository).
