Coventry University Professor Gave Lecture at NSD

On 12 February, Professor Stuart Weinstein of Coventry University gave a special lecture at National Settlement Depository (NSD), Russia’s central securities depository. NSD’s clients and partners had an opportunity to attend the world class expert’s lecture for free and to learn about the latest financial market trends.

Professor Weinstein’s lecture was devoted to topical issues of the stock market settlement infrastructure, in particular, to the transparency of securities transactions and organization of securities record keeping and safekeeping. Special emphasis was placed on financial market functioning under sanctions as well as on countering the financing of terrorism.

Stuart Weinstein is Professor of Coventry University and Head of Coventry Law School. He is a well-known financial market expert on international business law with an emphasis on legal risk management, corporate governance and compliance. Professor Weinstein combines his scientific activities with consultancy work.

This was the first lecture of Professor Weinstein in Russia. NSD intends to continue to organize meetings with leading financial market experts.

This consent is valid from the date of acceptance by me of the terms and conditions of the Service until the time when I cancel my subscription to the Service or revoke this consent by giving notice in writing to the Data Controller at its address.
