Not-for-Profit Partnership “The National Depository Center” and Closed Joint-Stock Company “THE NATIONAL REGISTRY COMPANY” (NRC) singed agreement on electronic document interchange in the course of operations on NDC’s account at the issuer registers, maintained by NRC ZAO in trial mode.
NDC CEO Nikolay Egorov noted that ‘after CJSC “THE NATIONAL REGISTRY COMPANY” joins NDC EDI the number of operations on NDC accounts at securityholders registers processed in electronic format will reach 35-40% of total number of NDC’s external depository operations of that type’.
During the trial mode the technology of companies’ work and software will be given final test under conditions close to real situation. After successful completion of the testing phase paper copy of electronic documents will be issued only in cases provided for in the current regulations under conditions set in the relevant agreements between companies.
