Russian food producer Cherkizovo Group has connected to Sberbank’s banking services via National Settlement Depository's Transit 2.0 platform. The Group’s connection to the platform has been implemented and tested remotely.

As part of the agreement for technological partnership for interchanging financial messages via Transit 2.0 concluded by NSD and Sberbank, corporate clients have been able to automate their electronic interactions with Sberbank through Fintech API at NSD’s platform.

“At the end of the last year, we made a decision to cooperate with NSD to shift to using a unified interaction channel with banks via Transit 2.0. The platform was tested together with three banks. It demonstrated that the Transit 2.0 document upload format met our requirements.  The Group began using the platform jointly with Sberbank; it allowed us to unify approximately 40 accounts opened with Sberbank in one window. The connection process was implemented smoothly and quickly. In general, I would say that the platform is very convenient as it has flexible settings and a user friendly interface,” said Arkady Sarkisov, Head of the Integrated Clearing Center, Cherkizovo Group.

“It took us two days to connect the Cherkizovo Group to Sberbank services via the Transit 2.0 platform and the Fintech API solution. This was a record time for integrating such a large company.  Now, Sberbank’s Fintech API solution includes practically all methods for integrating accounting systems, in particular, bank account statements, ruble payments, conversion transactions, salary project services, currency control operations, etc. Clients can connect to Fintech API themselves or via the partner network,” pointed out Anna Loyevskaya, Managing Director of Digital Corporate Bank Division, Sberbank.

“Our goal is to make exchanging payment documents between banks and corporations convenient and simple and to provide a high level of security and stability. The joint solution of NSD and Sberbank via Transit 2.0 facilitates interactions between corporate clients and banks. We hope that the Cherkizovo Group’s case will be an example which will be followed by other major players,” added Alexander Nam, Managing Director for IT Services, NSD.
