NDC’s May 2005 performance highlights prove to be another confirmation of NDC’s leading position in the Russian settlement and depository system as the biggest settlement depository as per the volumes of the safe-kept assets.
- Total amount of securities safe-kept at NDC has exceeded RUB 1.5 trillion,
- Value of corporate bonds in the client’s accounts has surpassed RUB 300 billion (par value),
- The number of securities in the client’s accounts has tripled (in comparison to the previous month).
Triplication of the number of securities safe-kept the client’s accounts was facilitated primarily by acceptance for servicing of the shares issued by the newly-established power generating companies, which emerged owing to restructuring of Russia’s energy sector.
NDC aims at further strengthening of its position in the Russian securities market infrastructure.
