Dear clients,
Please be advised that the following changes are planned in scope of “Repository 2.0” project:
- Discarding Principal reporting agents and, accordingly, discarding their functions under Powers of Attorney issued as Appendix 5 to the Terms and conditions for the provision of repository services.
- Transferring reporting functions to the Reporting agents by submitting Application for designation of authorized reporting agent (CM016 form).
In accordance with the Repository software releases schedule, transition to the new reporting model shall commence on 27 June, 2016 (start of business day).
In case if client doesn’t submit Application for designation of authorized reporting agent before that term, starting 27 June, 2016 such client shall act as a Reporting agent by itself regardless of entering or not into the Electronic data interchange agreement with NSD.
In case if client submits the Application and designate a Reporting agent but the latter won’t confirm it’s credentials, client – in order to perform Reporting agent’s functions by itself – should submit new Application where client indicates himself as a Reporting agent.
In order to avoid postponing reporting NSD’s Repository recommends all clients to submit Applications beforehand, instead of waiting for the deadline.
Please note that in order to register the Application confirmation is required from the Reporting agent (agents).
Applications for designation of authorized reporting agent may be submitted:
- In electronic form using the WEB-client.
- In paper (hard copy) form sent to NSD’s office by authorized representative or by post (delivery service). In case you have an authorized Principal reporting agent, the latter may submit the Application via its representative until 26 June, 2016 inclusive.
Processing of the Applications in paper or electronic form is free of charge.

In case you’re planning to provide CM016 in paper form you can prepare this document in the online form editor available on Repository’s specialized website. With this editor you can also validate the document to ensure that’s its correct.
Please keep in mind that providing Applications in paper forms requires additional time for their validation and processing on NSD’s side before entering data into the Repository.
Clients submitted Notification on rejection to submit information to the Repository (CM012 form) are not required to assign Reporting agents.
